Nurturing foundational sight-reading skills through interactive games and learning materials, students will take on the challenge of composing their very first melodies using familiar tunes like "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and "Three Bears.“

Students will master the grand staff and Middle C to build a solid foundation for two-handed playing, while entering the world of harmony through two-part composition.

They will learn to create beautiful harmonies by understanding intervals and chords, breathing emotion and life into their music through dynamics ($p, mf, f, ff$) and tempo changes.
By composing original musical parts for familiar tunes like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," students will achieve true artistic and musical expressiveness.

Students will add delicate expressiveness to their music using slurs, ties, and tenuto, while mastering a variety of performance techniques by distinguishing the subtle nuances between staccato, mezzo-staccato, and staccatissimo.

By expanding their range with ledger lines and spaces, they will gain the proficiency to freely navigate and play pieces with a wider pitch spectrum.
Now, students will achieve comprehensive musical mastery, enabling them to effortlessly understand, sing, and perform everything from classical scores to modern K-POP sheet music!
